We make these ink knives right here in our facility. Unlike others whose ink knives are made from cheaper, more brittle polypropylene plastic, we make ours from strong, durable, heat-resistant polurethane resin that stands up better to harsh printing environments. These knives pay for themselves quickly in ink savings by getting way down into those larger ink cans and buckets, plus they won't damage ink fountains and rollers.
These ink knives are heat resistant to 265F/ 129C. They won't bend and deform like others do.
They come in 4 sizes:
Standard -- 3"W x 6"L x 3/16" avg thick Blade (11-3/4" overall length) (formerly "littlejuan") This blade has a very slight flex
Long -- 3"W x 7-1/2"L x 3/16" avg thick Blade (13-1/2" overall length) (formerly "bigjuan") This blade has a slight flex and is best suited for extra deep applications
Wide -- 5-1/2"W x 4-1/2"L x 5/16" thick Blade (11" overall length) (formerly "fatjuan"). This blade has no flex and is well suited for wider cans or applications where no flex of the blade is needed
Square -- 4"W x 4"L x 1/4" thick Blade (10-1/2" overall length) (formerly "squarejuan") This blade has nearly no flex and is a good compromise between the Standard and Wide knives
