Terms and Conditions
Terms - Our terms are "Net 15 Days" with a purchase order once an approved credit application has been processed through our credit department. International customer's terms are - once a Proforma Invoice is approved payment can made either by credit card (5% processing fee) or by wire transfer ($35.00 bank transfer fee).
Payment Methods - We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express by calling our office direct.
Shipping - We ship most of our products via UPS using your shipper number, shipping "Freight Collect" by the manufacturer of a product is up to their descretion. When it is more cost effective and efficient we can also ship packages using the United States Postal Services Priority Mail.
International shipments - will be shipped using UPS or a frieght forwarder provided by the customer, at the customer's expense. We do not charge a handling fee for processing your order. NOTE: International shipments - ALL import duties and custom charges are to be paid by the consignee.
Sales Tax - We only charge sales tax to Florida and North Carolina customers. If a product is shipped to a location in Florida or North Carolina, then sales tax will be charged at the rate that is appropriate for the county and state the location is in. If your company is tax exempt, we ask that you either fax or email us a copy of your tax exempt form prior to placing an order. We also request that you register for an online account with us so that we can process orders for tax exempt customers.
Returns - If a product needs to be returned for any reason you must call us first for a "Return Goods Authorization" form before shipping the product back. Sometimes a warranty issue may result in a return for a product to be returned directly to the manufacturer instead of sending direct to Formtech. If your package arrives damaged by the carrier and you can refuse the package, please do so and contact Formtech immediately. We can file a claim with the carrier and ship the new product as quickly as possible.
Turn Around/Lead Time - Most of the items we sell are in stock and can be shipped the same day. Our cut off time for same day shipping is 2:00pm. Some products that have to be manufactured will usually be a lead time of 3-4 or up to 5-7 business days. If you need to know what the product lead time is please do not hesitate to ask.
